Autumn Reflection

As autumn rolls around each year, it becomes overwhelmingly apparently to me why I fell in love with nature photography.   While my favorite season seems to always be the current one, there are a few aspects of fall foliage that just stop me in my tracks and make me contemplate life, nature, and the amazingness of this world.  I have no idea if it is the cool breeze, the delayed morning sunrises, or seeing the bucks now with their antlers, or maybe it is as simple as sweatshirts and American football.  I have no idea, but fall makes me sappy.  It makes me pause in this chaotic life and simply gaze at nature.  Colorful leaves that pop with color one day and then so delicately fall the next remind me to slow down and experience each day, to laugh aloud, to smile, to love, and to appreciate the great people that surround me.

I've never tried to photograph this area of Europe in fall, so I'm hopeful to find some color here during my scouting trips.  Keep your fingers crossed for me.
